Advantages of Medical Lab Technician :

Lab technicians support scientific research and analysis through standardized experiments using various samples, such as blood, saliva and tissue. By learning about specific laboratory techniques and equipment, you can perform these experiments to gather data and complete investigations. For example, a laboratory technician might process blood samples collected from hospital patients to help determine why someone feels unwell.

With the volume of laboratory tests continuing to  increase due to both population growth and the development of new types of tests, job opportunities are expected to increase faster than average with over 26,000 new positions expected to be available by 2030.
